Eloralintide is Lilly’s weekly amylin agonist. Its standalone Phase 2 trial showed up to 20.1% mean weight loss at 48 weeks. New early data paired it with tirzepatide and reported up to 29.0% at week 32.
Large number, small study. These were early dose-finding groups reported in a conference abstract, with the full presentation and mature safety data still ahead. The useful signal is the combination: tirzepatide brings GIP and GLP-1; eloralintide adds amylin. Now Lilly needs to show that the effect survives a much larger trial without stacking the side effects too.
